Growth Above Replacement

The metric that replaces one-off observations with continuous, standards-aligned evidence of teacher impact. No clipboard required.

What is GAR?

GAR (Growth Above Replacement) measures how much better students perform with a given teacher or tool compared to a baseline expectation -- like WAR in baseball, but for learning. Instead of binary 'effective/ineffective' ratings, GAR shows continuous growth evidence from real session data.
